A renowned multinational confectionery company, noted for the high quality of its products and its strict health and hygiene standards, has installed CMA, CMB and PRA series EBARA centrifugal electropumps in its production plant.
The CM series pumps (single-impeller in cast iron with threaded port) and PRA series (cast-iron peripheral) sends hot water at 45°C into cavities in large tanks containing chocolate.
The water comes from the mains supply and after being heated to 45°C, is pumped into these tanks to lower the viscosity of the chocolate so that it can then be forced through screw pumps in the subsequent production processes.
The company staff in charge of production processes is very pleased with the efficiency and reliability of EBARA electropumps, which have never once presented problems since installation.
