EBARA supplies its stainless steel products to the distillation sector.
One of the major manufacturers of machines for pomace distillation and treatment implements EBARA DWO motor-driven pumps for the cleaning process (CIP) of the machines themselves.
The Cleaning in Place process cleans and sanitizes equipment used for producing foodstuffs and is performed without having to dismantle the machines.
The pump works cyclically with a solution of water and caustic soda, which helps to sanitize the pomace distillation system.
The motor’s efficiency and open impeller characteristics allow for limiting energy consumption and pumping small solids, consisting of pomace residues, during the sanitization phase.
