Centrifugal pump fitted with an open radial flow impeller in AISI 304 stainless steel, also making it suitable for pumping liquids that are not completely clean, but with solid parts up to 19 mm in diameter.
The DWO electric pump's pressed AISI 304 pump body is obtained through the hydroforming process, providing sturdy construction, hydraulic efficiency and reliability.

What should the dimensions of the handhole where I’m inserting the pump be?

It depends on the pump’s type and model.
Strictly follow the directions provided in the instruction manual.

Can I extend/replace the power cord without causing technical problems or affecting the warranty?

Yes, anyhow this operation has to be carried out by a specialised technician or at an authorised EBARA Service Centre. This avoids improper connections that can adversely affect the pump’s correct operation and/or the safety of the installation.

What kind of liquid can I pump with the DWO centrifugal pump?

The DWO centrifugal pump can be used to pump mildly aggressive liquids, water and glycol solutions, liquids that contain small size impurities, liquids that are usually from industrial washing systems.

What is the difference between the DWO centrifugal pump and the DWC centrifugal pump?

The DWO is an open impeller centrifugal pump that is suitable for washing systems with small size suspended particles.
The DWC is a Centrifugal pump with a single-channel impeller that is suited for refrigeration systems, such as chillers. The DWC version with the Victaulic coupling comes with an insulation shell as a standard option.

Can I extend the DWO centrifugal pump's power cord without causing technical problems or affecting the warranty?

Yes. This operation has to be carried out by a specialised technician or at an authorised EBARA Service Centre. This avoids improper connections that can adversely affect the pump’s correct operation and the safety of the installation.

I own/bought a DWO centrifugal pump, how do I carry out the first start-up properly?

The first start-up requires the following operations:

  1. undo the hexagonal cap on top of the pump’s body;
  2. use a funnel to fill the pump with water until it overflows;
  3. screw the cap back on until it’s blocked, this prevents air to seep in.

Please make sure that there is nothing blocking the dip tube’s foot valve. Once these steps have been carried out, turn the switch on and off two or three times in order to check the pump’s operating conditions and its direction of rotation. Then start its continuous operation and gradually open the delivery gate. Please always refer to user and maintenance manual.

What is the noise level of the DWO centrifugal pump?

The noise level of the DWO centrifugal pump is <70 dB at a one metre distance

How do I check the DWO centrifugal pump's direction of rotation?

  1. Start the pump for a for a few moments;
  2. Position yourself looking at the pump on the fan side (rear);
  3. Check if the fan is turning clockwise according to the sticker arrow on the fan cover.
