In a straw warehouse with a total area of ​​15 hectares divided into 2 lots, in the province of Foggia, which has 72 hydrants and 6 monitors (3 electric and 3 manual towers), EBARA Pumps Europe has supplied a fire-fighting booster set consisting of 2 110 kW motor pumps each, including a 2.2 kW pilot pump.
The site provides outdoor straw storage and is one of the largest in the area.
Each motor pump, equipped with a VM motor, has been sized to supply almost 80 m of head, at a flow rate of 250 m³/h.
The booster set complies with the EN 12485 and UNI 10779 fire-fighting regulations, and has been tested successfully, in the presence of both a sales representative and an EBARA Service Center.
In the various tests, the booster set was “pushed” up to its maximum capacity, ie 312 m³/h, with great satisfaction from all sides.
