I have a single-phase motor with a 4 wire output. How do I connect them?

The motor cable is standard for both single-phase as well as three-phase versions. For a single-phase motor, the brown wire has to be connected to the blue capacitor.

Should there be a oil leakage or the motor break inside the well, could the oil contaminate the water?

No, the oil that is used is food grade dielectric oil, therefore it’s been specifically developed so that it will not contaminate the water inside the well

Can submersible pumps and motors operate submerging them in a tank?

Yes, it’s important to:

  1. position the electric pump properly,
  2. use a cooling sleeve
  3. ensure that the pump is submerged in at least 0.5 m of liquid.

Can submersible pumps and motors operate in an horizontal position?

Yes, what matters is that the they are properly aligned and positioned with the hydraulics and therefore collars have to be used to secure the pump to the tank’s bottom, this assures stability and a correct position.
