Installation von EBARA-Pumpen in einer wichtigen Glaserei

Savona

In a company located in the province of Savona, leader in the production of glass bottles, several EBARA pumps are installed.
In particular:

• 4 electropumps with ENR 100-315 ACH coupling with 18.5 kW motor;
• 2 DRD submersible pumps for recovery of waste water;

The function of the pumps is to move the water that flows along the channels, with the aim of transporting the glass residues, cooling them and cooling the same channel in which the water flows.
It is similar to a real circulation system that develops as follows: the water flowing in the channels is discharged into a recovery tank where two DRD EBARA submersible pumps are installed, which relaunch it to the ENR pumps, the ENR pumps put it back into circulation in the plant.
The water is not clean, but has small residues of glass: despite this, the pumps are operating since 2009 and have shown excellent reliability. It is also a continuous operation, since the glass molding ovens work continuously 24 hours a day.
