3GP are EBARA booster units with three identical three-phase motor-driven pumps.

Specifications

The 3GP Ebara pressure booster sets, in standard versions,
can be used for residential, commercial, industrial and
agricultural applications, namely for: water lifting or
handling, cooling, heating, irrigation, washing systems.
The liquid carried can be: clean water, drinking water,
rainwater, well water, mixed water, provided it does not
contain solids or fibres in suspension and is free of aggressive
chemical substances. Units must be installed in a shelter
of some kind and protected from the elements and frost.
•Temperature of water carried in the range 0 to 50 °C
(depending on the kind of pumps installed).
• Ambient operating temperature in the range 0 to 40 °C
at an altitude of no more than 1,000 m above sea level.
• Relative humidity max. 50% at +40 °C.
NB: it is worth remembering that suction lift (installations
with liquid source lower than pump) decreases as altitude
and temperature increase. These characteristics, based on
the pump’s NPSH, must be allowed for when sizing the
system so as to avoid problems such as cavitation or
insufficient efficiency:
the NPSH available in the system must be greater than the
NPSH required of the pump. For applications with other
technical specifications, uses, climatic conditions (the kind
of liquid carried, marine environment, aggressive industrial
environment), ask our technical department for help.

Materials

Pressure booster sets come complete with:
motor-driven pumps - pressure gauge - pressure switches
- suction and discharge manifolds - isolating valves on
suction and discharge - nonreturn valve on suction - nipples
on suction with G1/2 ISO 228/1 connection for coupling
to air feed - various fittings - control panel - common base
plate - anti-vibration supports (latter not provided on all
sizes).

COMPONENTS ON STANDARD VERSION
• Manifolds: galvanized steel (Fe 330 UNI 8863 L series),
ISO 228/1 threading, PN10 flanges (PN16 on GP EVM
series).
• PN10 or PN16 ball isolating valves in nickel-plate brass,
PTFE seal.
• Lug butterfly valves in painted cast iron, EPDM seal
(EVM 30-60 series).
• PN10-PN16 spring-loaded nonreturn valves with brass
body, NBR rubber seal (GP EVM30-60 series flanged
body in cast iron).
• PN25 brass and galvanized cast iron fittings, ISO 7/1
threading.
• Bourdon spring pressure gauges, plastic casing, brass
coupling, scale in bar and psi.
• Bipolar adjustable pressure switches: with nitrile
diaphragm, silver contacts, plastic casing, protection
at least IP54.
• Base plate, control panel mounts: galvanized steel.
• Control panel: plastic or metal enclosure, IP55
protection.
• Nuts and bolts: galvanized steel.
