The ISO 9001:2000 certificate obtained from EBARA Pumps Europe S.p.A. on July 2000, has been renewed on the 13th of October 2006 by Det Norske Veritas Italia S.r.l., one of the main worldwide certification authority for Quality and Environment Management System.                                                                                                   Last renewal, according to ISO 9001:2008 was obtained on October 2009.

The certification of Det Norske Veritas Italia S.r.l., is for our customers a further guarantee of the efficiency of the quality system and the commitment of the company on the constant research to improve their quality.

Although the previous quality control system was still valid, the certification has been the occasion to evaluate the running procedures, renewing the whole "quality" system around the concept of continuous improvement.

The new project concerning the quality system has been carried out by interfunctional teams which have adopted the innovative approach for processes then incorporated into the last edition of the standard ISO 9OO1. The duration of the certification project took one year and has directly involved 3O people, but more than one third of the employees was involved in the adjustment and updating activities.

To acquire a very good knowledge of customers' quality requirements and of laws, regulations and quality specifications (Quality Standard) for the correct product operation. To formulate and aim at reaching rational and economic quality goals allowing to acquire customers' trust and satisfaction.

 Besides the importance of the certified Quality System forour customers, it also represents an input for the continuous improvement ofthe company quality and productivity"
